A legal notice regarding “Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy as to Students” was printed today in the News & Observer newspaper, and was made available on the N&O website. The notice reads as follows:

NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATORY POLICY AS TO STUDENTS
Triangle Academy is an independent high school focusing on mathematics, science, health, and global relationships. Triangle Academy admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Welcome back MBA team!

Our Fuqua MBA team is back from their South Africa adventure!

The team, together with advisor Dr. Paul Bloom, spent two weeks in the beautiful country of South Africa. Their goal? To assess on the ground the potential and feasibility of “twinning” with a school in South Africa. The aim is for Triangle Academy to build comprehensive links with a “twin” or partner school in South Africa.

The South Africa project will be a pilot to see how well it serves as a model for future twinning projects with schools in other countries.
